At Cowrie Craft, we are dedicated to delivering meticulously crafted, high-quality jewellery that meets your expectations.  If, however, you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, our returns policy is designed to make the process straightforward and customer-friendly. 

Conditions for Returns:

  • Time Frame: If you change your mind about an item, you must initiate the returns process by contacting Cowrie Craft, within 14 days of receiving the item.  You then have another 14 days to return the item.

  • Original Condition: Items must be returned in their original, unused condition, accompanied by the original packaging.

  • Goods received damaged in transit will be replaced at no cost with free delivery, provided you inform us, with photos, of any breakage within three days of receiving the order. Cowrie Craft will do their best to replace jewellery like for like, but due to the unique nature of sea glass and beachcombed finds, it will not be an exact match.

  • Gift Vouchers are not eligible for returns, refunds or exchange.

  • Personalised or custom-made orders are not eligible for returns, refunds or exchange.

  • Earrings are non-refundable due to hygiene reasons, unless faulty.

How to Initiate a Return:

  • Contact us: Email cowriecraft2020@gmail.com to initiate the return process

  • Provide Details: Please provide your name, order number, reason for the return, any relevant details and a returns address.

Return Shipping:

  • Responsibility: The customer is responsible for return shipping costs.  We recommend that you obtain proof of postage for all returned items.

  • Condition of Return: Ensure that the item is securely packaged to prevent damage during transit.

  • Jewellery that has been worn within the initial 30 day period and damaged as a result of not following the care instructions included are non-refundable and must be replaced at the customer’s own expense.

  • Any items returned that arrive damaged or become lost, will not be credited.

Refund Process:

  • Inspection: Once we receive the returned item, we will inspect it to ensure it meets the return conditions.

  • All refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 30 days of receipt of the returned item.  The original cost of delivery will be refunded providing the customer selected either  'Royal Mail First or Second Class Signed For' delivery.  If the customer chose a more expensive delivery option, the difference in price will be deducted from the refund.

  • Every effort will be made to issue exchanges within 30 days. 

  • Unauthorised Payment Refund:  In the case of an unauthorised payment leading to order cancellation, any funds already processed will be promptly refunded to the original payment method.

 

Our Rights:

  • Please note that we have the right to revise and amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time and any changes will be announced on the Cowrie Craft website. If you do not wish to accept the Terms and Conditions prior or following an update, you should discontinue the use of the site.

  • Continuation of orders and use of the site, after the date on which the changes come into effect, will be construed as your acceptance and your agreement to be bound by those Terms and Conditions.
